Anjusha Sasikumar, NP
Anjusha Sasikumar is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in pain medicine. She joined Allied Pain & Spine Institute in 2022.
Anjusha was born and raised India and relocated to California in 2014. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing and midwifery from India in 2009. Anjusha worked as an ICU nurse for a total of 5 years, between India and then Saudi Arabia before relocating to California. She transitioned to outpatient nursing and worked as an Oncology hematology specialized nurse for 6 years at Palo Alto Medical Foundation.
Anjusha earned her master’s degree in nursing as a Family nurse practitioner in 2021. During her studies, she has worked in coordination with physicians in a family medicine/ urgent care setting and in pediatric settings helping patients with a wide range of ailments.
Anjusha’s work history and accreditations and clinical placements as a student have afforded her a well-rounded skill set that aligns perfectly with her role as a family nurse practitioner in pain medicine.
She has developed sharp patient assessment skills as well as experience assisting with medical surgical procedures, acute patient care, and patient relations.
She has excellent knowledge about disease pathology attention to detail, organizational skills, problem-solving, and communication skills. She has experience working with a diverse population and patients coming from different cultural backgrounds. She speaks English, Hindi, and Malayalam fluently.
