Katherine Sattler, PA
Katherine Sattler is a board-certified Physician Assistant, who joined Allied Pain and Spine Institute in 2022. She grew up in New York, where she received her undergraduate and graduate education, at Hofstra University and NYIT, respectively.
After graduating PA school, Kat joined the Hospitalist Medicine team at Montefiore Medical Center, the largest PA-run service in the country. She learned to assess and treat a large range of medical conditions, from cardiopulmonary issues to infectious diseases. She saw patients from all walks of life, with various barriers to medical care.
When she moved to California in 2018, she decided to shift into an outpatient setting, and joined an endometriosis clinic. The primary symptom was most often chronic pain, and aside from surgery, the practice utilized various tools to reduce or eliminate pain. Treatment plans would be tailored to individual patients, and would include any combination of diet/nutrition changes, exercise, meditation, physical therapy, chiropractic treatments, biofeedback, psychotherapy, massage, supplementation, medication management, and others.
In her spare time, Kat enjoys spending time with her family. Her favorite activities include hiking with her dog, swimming, riding her bike, cooking, and reading.
She is currently working via telemedicine to increase patient access to care, and is accepting new patients.
