Chiropractic Techniques
Manual Manipulation
By mechanically adjusting the spinal column and/or peripheral joints through various techniques, our chiropractic therapists optimize body function, and effectively reduce or eliminate pain. Manual manipulation can address joints in the spine to the ones in our extremities, treating a host of soft tissue, joint, and nerve disorders.
Functional Rehabilitation
Skilled maneuvers are aimed at reducing un-wanted muscle and joint tension, restoring proper movement patterns, and increasing strength, range of motion, flexibility, coordination of muscles, and overall mobility. With meticulously planned rehab regimens, our chiropractors strive to achieve long-term benefits for our patients.
Modalities
Electrical muscle stimulation, ultrasound, cold/heat therapy, and many other modalities are routinely adopted by our chiropractors to optimize cellular production, regulate inflammation, and manage pain.
Myofascial Release
Myofascial release (or MFR) is an alternative medicine therapy that treats skeletal muscle immobility and pain by relaxing contracted muscles, improving blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulating the stretch reflex in muscles. Our chiropractic team exercises manual and instrument-assisted MFR as a routine part of soft tissue management, including for difficult-to-treat scar tissue.
